BMG was planning a worldwide launch of a new Elvis album, "ELV1S," containing remixed and remastered original tracks, as well as a new Annie Lennox album, and they needed online marketing sites to coordinate regional marketing team efforts. The sites needed to act as a repository for approved content, from designs and copy to audio tracks and contact info. The sites would need to grow quickly prior to the initial product rollouts, and would need periodic updates in the following months. They also needed designs that closely reflected the style of the album art. And most importantly, the site updates needed to be handled in a discreet manner. Most of the materials on the site were for marketing units only, and it was important that information from the site not reach the public.
