What is EBP Commerce

A modular multiple site, e-commerce solution based on open source technology, easily integrated with 3rd party functionality and multiple product vendors through simple interfaces.

Key Components Configurable Multi-Product Type, Catalog Shopping - Present multiple product lines on separate tabs or combined on a single tab. Accept online orders through a configurable buyer flow.
Self-Service Account Management -Your customers can manage their Passwords, Payment Methods, Email and Shipping Addresses, Preferred Shipping Methods, view their order history and more.
Targeted Search Engine - Target search sorted by relevance, alphabetically, sales, etc. Automatically show your customers exact matches, or partial matches or even fuzzy matches, based on fuzzy logic, stemming, etc.
Drill Down Browsing - Drill down through a configurable taxonomy of product categories, link associated product, etc.

  • Super Admin - for creating multiple stores, or running software as a mall for multiple organizations.
  • Admin - for user management.
  • Configuration Administration - allowing you to customize stores as to look and feel, payment method offering, shipping methods, languages, Product categories and category taxonomy, etc.
  • EBP Content Management - Create versionable content for your Home pages and other site pages. Stage this content locally or on your production machine, then publish it to your customers. Easily revert to older version of you content if necessary.
  • Promotion Management - Offer percentage off sales, dollar off sales, coupons, buy one get one at a discount and more for all or part of your catalog.
  • Customer Service - Customer Service Reps, look at order data, process returns, refunds, etc.
  • Catalog Management - Import or create product listings manually. Store multiple types of associated content and assets, etc.
  • Reporting and Monitoring - with EIC, the Executive Information Center, allow different site management groups to view real time application statistics as well as produce and route periodic production reports. Configure alert thresholds to allow Data Center and Operations groups to respond quickly to issues as soon as they present themselves.
  • Order Management - Link multiple product vendors, send split orders, integrate with transaction processors, settle transactions including partial fulfillment automatically and keep your customers informed of all events.
