We are the North American division of arvato systems, a global 1,100 person consulting division of the media conglomerate Bertelsmann AG. We are the leading provider of technology, business solutions consulting and application development primarily for the media/entertainment industries - publishing, music, and broadcasting. We provide an integrated value chain starting from vision and consulting, through planning, development and operation to comprehensive maintenance and care of IT systems. Operating from our offices in New York, Indianapolis, and Duncan, SC, arvato systems is dedicated to solutions-based consulting and custom application development.

Integrated Broadcast Management Solution for CanWest Global
Good news for arvato systems and S4M - Solutions for Media: on February 9, 2004 the Canadian media company CanWest Global signed a large contract. As general contractor, arvato systems received an order to implement an S4M integrated broadcast management solution at CanWest GlobalTV.

arvato systems closed a contract for providing digital content delivery services for one of the largest financial services communications providers in the world. The digital content will be delivered on behalf of the media division. The arvato systems digital delivery solution will reach the 150,000+ banking customers of this financial services technology/service provider in 126 different countries around the world.

arvato systems Implements CyberCash® to Authorize Credit Cards for Playmobil's SAP System.
On October 1st, 2003, Playmobil USA launched arvato systems North America's enhancement of their SAP processes. By integrating CyberCash® with Playmobil's existing SAP and Enfinity software architecture, arvato systems modified existing output documents (delivery notes, invoices) to include the payment information.

arvato systems' first project for Random House, the Cat in the Hat website, successfully launched this month. The site provides visitors with book information, details about the upcoming movie, and online activities.

On September 9th, Arista Associated Labels released 4 Andrea Immer Enhanced CD's, on the RCA Victor Label. The CDs showcase not only the quality music in Arista Associated Labels' deep jazz, classical and blues catalog, but also the impressive interactive programming, graphics and design skills of the arvato systems North America team. For titles ranging from Big Reds, Bistro and Ballads to Mojitos, Mariscos and Mambo, the arvato systems team transformed a collection of audio, video and image assets into full-featured, interactive works of entertainment.

We are proud to announce that arvato systems has recently completed the successful relaunch of Click2Music.com. Click2Music.com is a consumer portal of music conglomerate BMG, and is packed with information, news, streaming media, downloads and contests spotlighting BMG's vast repertoire of music and artists.

arvato systems and Klopotek Sponsor Booth at BookExpo America (BEA) 2003 in Los Angeles
Last year, arvato systems and Klopotek announced a worldwide partnership. This year, both organizations implemented a US marketing campaign that included sponsoring a booth at BookExpo America 2003 in Los Angeles. Members of both Klopotek and arvato systems' teams managed the Klopotek booth. Attendance to the booth was both high in volume and in quality due to a direct mailing campaign before the event. The goal of developing the global Klopotek brand in publishing IT is being realized with efforts at events such as BEA.
