Bertelsmann mediaSystems Selects New Intershop Technology
Bertelsmann Arvato subsidiary builds an international fulfillment solution on Enfinity MultiSite™
Hannover, March 20, 2002 - Bertelsmann mediaSystems (BmS), a subsidiary of the Bertelsmann Arvato AG, one of the largest media service providers in Europe, placed an order with Intershop Communications (NASDAQ: ISHP, Neuer Markt: ISH). The IT service provider uses Intershop's Enfinity MultiSite™ platform to build an international fulfillment solution. The company offers IT and consulting services and has relied on Intershop technology for a variety of major projects.
As a longstanding provider of information and communications services, Bertelsmann mediaSystems' more than 1,200 employees at over 20 locations all over the world develop, implement, and service e-commerce solutions.
